Talk about a grand day out...in the early 80's, one could buy a East Midlands Day Ranger for just a few pounds, giving unlimited travel across the region. In those days, there was no shortage of interesting motive power. Regretfully, I didn't take that many pictures, but what a great trip with good friends.
