A real rarity here... Diverted off the main line on a Sunday due to engineering work, 50 003 heads its Exeter bound service through St Margarets on the Waterloo - Windsor line

One of my favourite all time Class 50 shots. 50 004 pauses at Bodmin Road with a down express. The driver looks towards the signal box, on the platform, for the off, and with just the merest hint of power and release of the brakes, he will be off. Summers were made of this...happy days.
