Welcome to my photographic website. I hope you like the material here. My main interest is in travel and transport, and my images go back to the late 1970s and 80s, right through to the present day.

After a cracking start to the year, the weather for the first quarter has been particularly dismal. There has been quite a bit to record, with NR test trains to my home town, and a quick trip to Oxford to get the 56 on the flyash before it disappears. Visits to both Stafford and Crewe allowed a brief pause for photography, with some pleasing results. However, it was a family holiday to the western USA that allowed a real recharge of the batteries, with San Francisco streetcars and CalTrains looking particularly good. I will be creating a 'overseas' gallery very shortly - watch this space.

As well as the old shots from my collection going back over 30 years, I try to shoot plenty of modern stuff, both on the mainline and preserved. If you see me out and about, do say hello!
